Individual Volunteering Programs in Costa Rica

This program is directed at individuals over 18 to 75 years oldwho are interested in donating their time and experience for the benefit of those communities with the most need in Costa Rica.

This experience is a great opportunity to expand your horizons and knowledge in both academic and professional areas, as well as an ideal environment for improving your Spanish language skills. You can plan your volunteer time to best suit your availability and your expectations, from 15 days up to a year.

The activities that you can develop are diverse, from maintenance of protected natural areas and attention to populations in social risk, to direct participation in Indigenous communities and/or women’s groups in processes of rural development, which are sponsored by government entities and international agencies.
