First RJI Veterinary campaign
Mass vaccination campaign will carry out in Quetzaltenango Guatemala, from May 4th to May 6 2011. The vaccination zone comprise 3 villages within Colomba District, La Florida, La nueva Florida and El porvenir, under the auspices of Students Offering Support from Canada and Dr. Shirley Hernandez from Costa Rica. Using a village-based strategy. Two weeks prior to the vaccination date, Volunteers will be visiting the villages to advertise the campaign through meetings with community leaders and at primary schools. Previous experience has suggested that children are most likely to handle dogs and bring them for vaccination
