National Youth Council Congress in El Salvador
Reto Juvenil Internacional assisted last month to the National Youth Council Congress in El Salvador.
At this congress, around 80 different youth and community organizations from 14 different cities assisted, to support the Project: “Youth Violence Social prevention”
The activity received over 5000 participants and was sponsored by the local governments and the President of El Salvador
The goal of this congress is to reach people from 0 to 35 years old, in the prevention of violence, through the creation of local centers for detection and intervention against violence, action plans involving local government institutions, such as police, Red Cross and others, new opportunities to increase the work options as a way to level the economic conditions and prevention of violence.
Reto Juvenil Internacional was invited due to the years of experience working with the youth. Eventually we will be providing logistics, planning support and advisory for all the committees involved in this project.
