“The two weeks spent in Nicaragua was a life changing experience for me. The trip taught me to be grateful for everything I have here at home in Canada.  After many early mornings and long work days, seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces is what motivated me to keep building the library.  Building the library was important because it gave the school more space for classrooms and most importantly it benefited the children's education. All the kids wanted to learn and their dreams were to go to university in the city. With education these kids can accomplish anything they dream of.
