Empower Her Program 2018
A Loyola Marymount University M.A.P.S. Affiliated Organization Supported by the Donald A. Strauss Scholarship Foundation.
Empower HER increase the number of attendance of school girls in impoverished communities by providing proper menstruation care resources. By increasing school attendance, the quality of education and opportunity to pursue professional goals for these girls increases. One of the main threats to quality education for young women is the lack of resources and knowledge of proper care during menstruation. This project recognizes that lacking basic care threatens the quality of education, which deprives young women of opportunities to better their quality of life.
Empower HER actively works with 42 young girls from San Victor School in Belize.
Thank you Empower Her!
